ELDRED: Pyro chose Cindercrag for the site of Faestus' ultimate creation – the Pyrodraulic Dynamo™. James was intent on destroying it before it could be activated.
MITHRAS: What would it do... if it was activated?

Cindercrag[]

After a recent slave raid on Orgren, Pyro assigns you to finish activating the Dynamo, believing that such advanced technology will deal both with Marduk and his enemies. You are tasked to bring 10 slaves to the Dynamo, and are shown the location of the factories from which you can gather the slaves. Two geomancers also oppose you, who you are to defeat.

It is advisable to deal with the slaves first, since if you bring them to the Dynamo quick enough, you will receive a boon from Pyro. The slaves can't teleport with you, and are susceptible to attacks from Charlotte and Grakkus; you will need to escort them. However, casting Speed Up on them will make them faster (for a long time too, since they have low health values) and thus easier to escort. Begin gathering slaves from the factories further from the Dynamo; this is the quickest way.

The Geomancers[]

Whether you meet them before, during or after you escort the slaves to the Dynamo, you'll eventually have to deal with James' wizards. There are two of them, and both command a medium-sized army. Individually, they are rather easy to defeat. A combination of Pyromaniacs, or other creatures that have a Burning Attack, and your Pyrodactyl's Viscous Oil can kill the wizards, as well as their followers, very fast. The biggest challenge is getting past their defenses near their respective altars; each wizard has several Flummoxes, Earthflings, a Taurock, a Basilisk and an Ikarus defending their final manaliths. If you have activated the Dynamo, it has a random chance of triggering a volcano eruption close to their manaliths; this will get rid of or weaken their defenses considerably. Otherwise, a massed Pyrodactyl attack, or a combination of Pyrodactyls and Pyromaniacs is the best way to kill the defenders. It is also a good idea to kill your allies (other than Faestus, who is invincible) that are guarding the Dynamo; after they die, the game makes them your creatures, meaning they actually drop blue souls rather than red souls. This is especially useful if you served Charnel the mission prior, as Animate Dead will quickly revive these creatures and give you access to Bombards. Once Charlotte and Grakkus are banished, the mission is complete.

Boon[]

The boon benefactor for this mission is Pyro. He gives you the boon if you escort 10 slaves to the Dynamo in 14 minutes after the game starts.

If you want to be extra sure you get the boon, set a timer.

There is no karma boost for this boon.
